To participate in an online conference, you need:
- a broadband internet connection (DSL 6000 or higher is recommended)
- a LAN or stable WiFi connection
- an up-to-date browser
- if you want to communicate using audio: a headset, a hands-free kit or a conference microphone or a conference microphone
- if you want to communicate using video, an integrated webcam or a USB webcam.
Furthermore, depending on your operating system, the following requirements must be met:
Windows 7 (or above)
- Computer: 1,4 GHz | 1 GB RAM minimum
- Flash-Plugin or free Add-In for Windows
MacOS 10.11 (or above)
- Computer: 1,83 GHz | 1 GB RAM minimum
- Flash-Plugin or free Add-In for MacOS
Linux: Ubuntu 14.04, 16.04, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 or above
- Google Chrome (recommended) with Flash-Plugin 23.0 or above
- Please note that add-ins are not offered for Linux systems. Certain functionalities (such as screen sharing, document sharing or editing and extracting recordings) are therefore not available under Linux. For more information about using Adobe Connect on Linux, please visit the DFN website.
