By most events the technical effort is manageable. As a rule, the organiser will appoint a staff member responsible for event technology, who will be instructed by the staff of the Computer and Media Centre.
For more complex events, with different lighting moods or a large number of microphones that have to be operated via mixing consoles, a media technician is necessary. Within the scope of the available working time, employees of the Computer and Media Centre can actively participate in the event and operate the technology. If no employees of the Computer and Media Centre are available, external event technicians must be hired. The external technicians must be booked early and rehearsals with them must be organised. The costs for the external event technicians are borne by the event organiser.
